Alex has decided he wants to have a more outgoing personality. I don't really mind, except I think I'm going to really suck at writing how outgoing he wants to be. He wants to be adorable, really, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to like him better this way. But I don't know how I'm going to do it.

I'm having problems giving Daniel the kind of personality I want to give him. It's an important plot device for him to be like that, but he's basically a carbon copy of someone I know. I don't think that someone I know will read my novel if I end up doing anything with it, but I don't want him to, him to realize its him, and be all offended. Cuz, if I make Daniel this way, Jeremy, Kia, Alex, and Carrie are all going to feel the same way I do to a varying degree. Because he's just like that. It's an important plot point for it to happen, once I thought about using him that way. So, do I make Daniel the way I want and risk offending someone, or do I make him different and possibly screw up my plot with an unbelievable character?

And I still need to make profiles for Amy, Stephanie, Carlie, Eric, and Tyler. At least I still have some time before November.

I'm having a problem. Jeremy and his plot still want to be written. But Nakia and her brothers have their own story that they want to have written.

Maybe after NaNoWriMo I'll write them.

Daemien, I blame you. Even if it was Nakia's fault, I still blame you. Stop talking to her.

I'm going to be a first year participant in NaNoWriMo this year. So for the next month and a half, this journal will be used for that. (Whether it's going to be procrastinating my novel or actually writing it, who knows.)

Jeremy decided to tell me today that he's lactose intolerant. That has nothing to do with my plot at all. But if it makes him happy, I'll add it to his bio. (My mom doesn't think he can get mad, since he's just a character on paper. Unfortunately for me, he can get mad and refuse to be written. And that just wouldn't be good since the entire plot hinges on him.)

Kaleb actually let me know something useful. He likes baking, especially for Nakia, and he doesn't know what to do with his little sister who is apparently five years younger than he is.

Bri finally stopped trying to become an MC. I gave her annoying, adoring friends.

Daemien helpfully pointed out that Terri has an inferiority complex, not just a bad case of being a bastard. Daemien has been quite cooperative this afternoon after Keiichiro threatened him. *gives Kei a cookie*

Nakia explained where her name came from. Her mom was really into Egyptian history, and she decided to give her daughter an Egyptian name. What her mother named her sons, I have yet to know. Nakia, be a dear and tell me your brothers names, pretty please?

I'm going to post all of my character bios here once I finish them for sure. They keep telling me things that I feel like I should add. Even if it is dumb and irrelevant. coughJeremycough

I took the themes from one of the many theme communities around LJ. I'm not actually posting in any of them, because I can't stick to the 100 word rule. And, besides, they're my own characters, so it's not like I'm stealing someone else's claim.

Theme: Beginnings
Characters: Jake and Tami
Rating: G

Jake dropped the box on top of the pile and looked around his new apartment. He sighed as he looked at the stains on the walls and carpet. There was quite a noticeable lack of furniture as well. So many things left to do.

"Stop it," Tami commanded. She poked him in the side. "This is a new beginning. Don't think about how far you have to go. Be happy for starting."

He gave her a lazy smile. "I like things to be done."

"You're anal, I know. That's why I'm here to help you procrastinate." Tami clapped her hands decisively. "Pizza or Chinese?"

I actually have a whole mess of them written for these two, plus their friend Kerri. I have them all typed and ready to go, I'm just going to be slow about posting them so I don't massivly do it. I want to space things out a bit. (And it gives me more time to work on the ones I haven't done yet.)

I'm working on an Ouran fanfic. Once I'm finised that, I'll post it here and probably on ouranhostclub.

Two Gundam Wing drabbles I typed up ages ago to kick things off.

Title: Facade
Rating: G
Genre: Gen
Pairings: 2+4 (friends)

Duo and Quatre sat together in a dark corner of the hangar. Deathscythe and Sandrock looked down on them. They had a computer in front of them, watching the news detailing the self-destruction of the Gundam. "God, that's one hell of a mess," Duo said, his eyes narrowed at the screen. "Dammit and no one's giving a clear enough shot to look through it."

"What are you hoping to find?" Quatre asked quietly. "There's almost no way he could have survived."

Duo laughed. "You've never met anyone like this guy. He jumped out of a fifty story building and lived. If he had actually been in the gundam at the time, I might be worried."

Quatre gave him a weak smile. "And you don't get to be a gundam pilot by being weak." They watched quietly for a few minutes longer. Duo looked over and saw tears sliding quietly down Quatre's face.

"Hey, come on, why are you crying? Heero can't be dead."

Quatre gave him a considering look. "I'm terrified, confused, and guilty. This isn't the end, and that almost makes it worse. If we act now, we may be risking more than ever before with Oz targeting the colonies."

Duo shifted uncomfortably. "We'll figure out something. Or we'll wait for order-"

"I'm crying because you won't."

Duo sat back, startled at the sharp hurt that fluttered through his chest. His shoulders drooped forward. Quatre was the first person to ever see through the facade. Oh how the mighty hath fallen.

Title: Payback
Rating: G
Genre: Gen
Pairings: 2+4 (friends)

Duo hated being in debt to anyone, especially now that he could support himself just fine. He also hated doing things he knew other people would hate. So when he decided it was time to pay Quatre back, he was at a loss for a little while.

There was no question about paying him back. Quatre had been extremely generous after the war had ended, giving Duo anything he needed to get his scrapyard off the ground. Not to mention everything all the times Quatre had saved his ass during the war. But Quatre wouldn't accept money back, he knew that without even trying. Besides, that was a shitty way to pay back a brother.

On a brief colony news blurb, they announced a business meeting of some of the biggest space business men and mentioned the young Winner president would be in attendence. Duo smiled wide, a plan forming in his head.

----

Quatre stepped out of the office building and loosed his tie with a soft sigh. Sometimes people could be really stupid. He was giving them every benefit the merger could possibly afford them and they still wanted more. A motorcycle roared up, stopping in front of Quatre. Quatre yelped as a bundle of clothes was thrown at his head.

"C'mon, Quatre, hurry up and get changed!" Duo chorused.

"Duo!" Quatre disentangled himself from the mess of clothes and gave Duo a half-hearted glare. "Why?"

"Because! Just do it!" Duo bounced excitedly off the cycle and pushed Quatre back towards the building. "Go find a bathroom and change. Unless you want to get that nice suit ruined by the lovely streets of L2."

Quatre smiled and let Duo have his way. He changed into Duo's jeans and t-shirt and met Duo out in the lobby. "What are we doing?"

"We are going to go get some greasy fast food, see a movie, and then I have a surprise!"

"To what do I owe the pleasure of this day?"

Duo only smiled and slung an arm around Quatre's shoulders.

"And do we really have to take your motorcycle? I have a car."

"Don't you trust me?"

"I've seen you drive. No." Duo mocked being shot in the heart as they left the building.

----

Quatre hadn't had such a fun day in a long time. He'd known he missed Duo, but there wasn't anything quite like hanging out with someone to realize just how much you missed them. He downed the last of his soda and threw it in the trash can. "So what's this surprise?" he asked.

"If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?" Duo smirked and led them back out to his motorcycle.

"What if I don't like surprises?"

"Then you'll live with it, because I like surprising people." Duo tossed Quatre his helmet and climbed on. Quatre slid on after him and slipped his arms around Duo's waist. "Hang on tight. We're gonna be late if we don't hurry."

"Oh god." Duo rocketed out of the parking lot, Quatre laughing with excitement behind him. Duo pulled into a dirt parking lot and leapt off the bike. He grabbed Quatre's hand and pulled him along after him.

"C'mon! We're going to be just in time!"

Quatre's jaw dropped as he looked at the big top in front of them. "We're going to see Trowa?"

"Yup!" Duo smiled wide, happy that everything was going according to plan. He cast a quick look around and found the last part of the surprise waiting a few rows up. Duo waved excitedly and tugged Quatre's arm.

"Heero? Wufei?" Quatre smiled "So this was Duo's surprise!" Heero and Wufei both nodded hello, small smiles flitting across their faces.

Duo sat and dragged Quatre down beside him. "Talk later. Watch now."

"Thank you, Duo," Quatre said softly as Trowa and Catherine came out to do thier performance.

"No thanks are neccessary, man."
